A. Scott Bolden and David Catania for Councilmembers At-Large
On July 18, 2006, the Washington DC Association of REALTORS® (WDCAR) officially announced its endorsement of A. Scott Bolden and David Catania for DC Councilmembers At-Large.
A. Scott Bolden, a challenger for At-Large Councilmember, understands home and business owner needs. His experience in the private sector will give him the perspective needed for moving the District forward.
"Scott Bolden has a vision for DCRA that would improve customer service and enforcement," said Committee Chairman Dale Mattison. "It's time for a new At-Large Councilmember and we believe that Bolden will be a strong addition."
WDCAR is also proud to endorse David A. Catania for DC Councilmember At-Large. David has been a friend of the REALTORSŪ and the real estate community for almost ten years. He has helped reduce District property and income taxes, and has consistently supported homeownership and economic development. Poised to be a major player in District government, Catania is known for his ability to wring out excesses in District government spending and is regarded as one of the foremost budget experts.
The Washington DC Association of REALTORS® is comprised of almost 3,000 professionals who help residents find homes, and business owners find office and retail space in the District. The Association's members are on the front line of promoting ownership in the District to residents, potential residents, and business owners who are considering investing in the District.
