The DisplayKEY is leased to you by SUPRA who is the manufacturer of the key. The lease fee for SUPRA's 2008 year (which goes from March 2008 to December 2008) is $79.85. The lease fee is prorated monthly.
The eKEY delivers showing information to you every morning and tells you who's been showing your listings. It has the ability to receive electronic notes from agents who have shown your listings. You can calculate LoanPro on the spot. It allows you to program your own KeyBoxes and change your shackle codes as well as maintain your inventory of lockboxes. It also serves as a personal digital assistant (PDA) to help organize your busy schedule. You also have access to maps as a part of the eKEY service.
I forgot to put my key on the cradle last night, how do I update now?
There are 2 options for updating your key if you have missed your overnight eSync. You can either perform a manual eSync or get an update code from KIM Voice.
If you have a DisplayKEY, press ENTER to turn the key on. Scroll down until you see MANUAL ESYNC press ENTER. On the display screen it will say PLACE KEY IN CRADLE. Once you put the key in the cradle it will take about 1-2 minutes to update.
If you have an eKEY, you would select the eSync menu and go to UPDATE KEY. Sit the shell in the cradle and it will take about 1-2 minutes to update.
To get an update code from KIM Voice, you would call 1.888.968.4032. KIM will ask you to enter your area code. She will then ask you to enter your key# and PIN and press #. KIM will then give you options to get manual update codes for all the areas programmed on your key. If you have other areas programmed on your key, make sure you get a code for GCAAR first, then for any other areas you may need.
My key is on the cradle, but it is not updating, what do I do?
You can call SUPRA at 1.877.699.6787. They will troubleshoot with you to determine what the problem with your eSync process is. If SUPRA determines that you have either a defective key/cradle they will give you a reference number to bring your product into GCAAR to exchange the product.
The keybox container on my lockbox will not open, what should I do?
If you are getting a "NOT AUTHORIZED" message on your key, you should make sure that your key is updated properly and try again. If that doesn't work, you can call SUPRA so that they can troubleshoot with you to determine what is the cause of your not authorized message.
My key is giving me a "LOW BATTERY" message, how do I change the battery?
You can not change the battery in a DisplayKEY. The battery gets its charge from the cradle. You can call SUPRA so that they can determine whether there is a problem with the battery in the key or a problem with the cradle charging the battery in your key. Once that is determined SUPRA will give you a reference number to exchange the product with GCAAR.
I can't use my key, it says "DATA CORRUPTION" what do I do?
Data Corruption is the result of the battery in the key getting so low that it has lost its programming. You can prevent this by putting your key in the cradle every night for its overnight eSync. To correct this problem, you can bring your key into GCAAR to have it reprogrammed.
